Do you have a favourite player on the tour, in terms of both game and personality?
Rafael Nadal is my favourite player to watch and I love the way he expresses himself on court. I don’t know him personally though :-(
You still seem very confident in your ability, how high up the rankings do you think you can go?
I wouldn’t play tennis and practice for all the hours I do if I didn’t believe I could be better than where I’m at. Who knows how high up the rankings I can get but the one thing I will be doing is making the most of what I’ve got.
Will you be watching the World Cup? Who do you think will win it?
Of course! England all the way, come on!!
Do you like grass? Do you have to be that much more careful of your knee on the surface?
I don’t dislike grass, it’s just not my strongest surface! I do feel the stress on my knees that bit more but as long as I’m sensible and get regular physio work on it, then I’m fine.
Who's your tip for the men's/women's singles title at Wimbledon 2010? Do you there could be any major surprises?
I hope I’ll be able to cause an upset in the draw! I think Nadal will win the mens title but only because he’s my favourite player!
What's your favourite thing about Wimbledon?
Having the home support, I love it when the crowd get behind you and are vocal, it really does help.
Your comeback from injury since February has been really encouraging and since you have nothing to defend after July the only way is up! It must be an exciting time - How happy are you with your progress so far in 2010?
I’m pleased with the way I started my comeback but there’s still a lot of work to do to get back to where I was. The main thing for me now is to look after my body and stay focused on the job and my ranking will take care of itself.
Are you good at all sports, or is there anything you're rubbish at?
I enjoy most sports and will give anything a try but I’m awful at Ten-Pin Bowling as the Tennishead team have witnessed!
If you could play mixed doubles with any player, past or present, who would it be?
Stefan Edberg or Roger Federer. Both classy tennis players.
Do you get more nervous match point up or match point down? (Or neither!)
Both depending on the situation!
