During her time in Eastbourne at the AEGON International, Anne Keothavong and fellow Brit Elena Baltacha took time to talk to the BBC about their hopes going into Wimbledon.

Keothavong’s participation in Eastbourne came to an end on Wednesday night when she and Sarah Borwell lost their doubles quarter-final to Ai Sugiyama and Akgul Amanmuradova 7-6(3), 6-3.

The Londoner will now travel to Wimbledon to prepare for next week’s Championships.

I notice you had extra chilli in your chicken green curry before the Olaru match (win or lose), what would your nutritionist recommend as a pre-match dinner - more or less chilli?

I like chilli and spicy food so I couldn’t care less what my nutritionist thought about it! My diet is pretty healthy overall and I believe everything in moderation is fine.
